L2C4 Renaissance is a custom Lineage II project built around Chronicle 4. Its official pages describe a modified ruleset with reworked classes, additional pets and summons, and progression systems beyond standard leveling. The homepage identifies the Amber world with x1 base rates for experience, SP, adena, drops, spoil and quests; the project guide describes the Black Death ruleset.

Progression depends on server stages, character level and the level difference between characters and monsters. Later stages provide experience and SP adjustments for lower-level characters, while reaching the server's soft cap reduces those rewards. Crafting also grants experience and SP. Class changes and equipment expertise use altered level requirements, and the project allows one subclass whose skills can be used alongside those of the main class.

Quests and NPC dialogue are available in Russian, while many game names remain in English. The official knowledge base covers runes, character attributes, alchemy, unusual equipment and hidden quests. Accounts are created directly through the game client.
