L2Gold is a Lineage II project centered on customized Gold-style gameplay. Its Legacy world uses x45 rates and is presented as a C4/Interlude server built on L2OFF PTS files. The network also distinguishes its Remastered development from Legacy, so the two should be treated as separate versions of the project.

Legacy combines character progression with crafting, raid encounters, PvP and castle sieges. Its server guide describes NPC support for solo play, including a buffer and mana potions, alongside equipment and competition systems. These settings belong to Legacy rather than every L2Gold season.

The official newsroom outlines clan missions and event concepts such as mineral collection, a mining-area boss and battles at Bandit Stronghold.
