L2 Darkness is a custom Lineage 2 project combining an Interlude gameplay foundation with an Essence-style interface. Its published x100 configuration centers on farming, equipment upgrades and PvP. The interface brings teleports, shops, raids and events together through a community board, while built-in autofarm and automatic skill learning support character development.

Progression extends beyond standard S-grade equipment through four upgrade tiers. A rebirth system returns characters to level 40 in exchange for permanent stat bonuses, with up to three rebirths per character.
