L2Asteria is a customized High Five MultiProff project where character development includes skills from other professions. Players obtain these through a dedicated NPC using skill coins, with available abilities tied to character level. In the published x10 configuration, experience is x10, SP is x1, and Adena, drop and spoil are x2.

Skill coins come from quests, events, raid bosses and talent development. The talent system adds another progression path without resetting the character's level. A separate extraction system turns equipment-set bonuses into learned passive effects. Class transfers are available from NPCs, while subclass and Noblesse progression retain their High Five quests.

The server guide describes raid bosses reached through the community board and solo epic instances with talent requirements. Automated events provide additional activities and currencies. Built-in auto-farming includes target and potion settings, while premium accounts can continue farming offline. Long-duration buffs and passive songs and dances reduce repeated preparation. These systems make the published configuration a cross-class progression variant of High Five rather than a standard ruleset.
