Utopia is an independent Lineage II project built around Interlude gameplay on a Classic client. Its Interlude x6 season combines character development, crafting, raids and clan competition with several convenience systems. The published base rates are x6 EXP and SP, x4.5 adena, and x3 drops and spoil. Progression is divided into an initial level-76 cap and a later level-80 phase.

Town services include a buffer, shops, teleport assistance and offline trading. First and second class transfers are free, skills are learned automatically through level 77, and an in-game farming assistant has a daily free allowance. Premium accounts have separate bonuses and longer access to some services. Subclasses retain their own skills rather than stacking them with the main class.

The season also includes champion monsters, a shortened Seven Signs cycle and scheduled epic encounters. Team versus Team and Deathmatch events complement the clan and siege systems.
