L2 Moon is an independent Lineage II Interlude project centered on PvE, MultiSkill character building and a Rebirth system. Players select a base class and subclass, then learn skills beyond the usual class boundaries. Progression uses modified farming zones, exclusive equipment and Rebirth rewards, with individual rewards rather than party drops in the higher zones.

The server adapts skills and buffs for mage and fighter progression. Physical buffs also benefit magic damage, buffs last two hours, and there is no buff limit. Starter support buffs are available through level 60, while characters can learn their own buffs through MultiSkill. A support shop in central Giran supplies auxiliary and exclusive items.

Equipment rules include safe enchanting through +3 and a maximum of +100. Failed Crystal Scroll attempts neither break equipment nor lower its enchant level. Lethal effects and item augmentation are disabled, and S-grade items cannot be traded. Castle sieges require developed equipment, with skill enchant books available from castle blacksmiths. The site also provides optional donations and a voting reward system.
