EmberFaLL is a Lineage 2 Interlude project built around quest progression, crafting and group play. Its announced fresh-start x5 season uses x5 EXP, SP, Adena, drop and spoil rates, with x1 quest rewards and x2 Seal Stones. The opening resets characters, equipment, clans and world progression while retaining existing account logins.

The season has no GM shop, mana potions or custom NPC buffer. A Newbie Buffer supports starting characters, while regular buffs retain retail durations. Skills require manual learning; subclass, Noblesse and third-class progression require quests. Retail teleports and offline shops are available.

Players may run one main character and one alternate. The project describes this limit as a way to encourage parties and clan cooperation.
